Information Technology	MS Computer Science	BS in Computer Science / BS in Information Technology/ Bachelor of Computer Science / Master of Computer Science/ Master of Information Technology/ MSc (Computer Science) / Computer Engineering/ Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering/ Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology / Bachelor of Engineering (Computer & Information System)/ BSc Computer System Engineering / BS (CS) or Computer Science Conversion Course 2 years Degree Program referred to BCS-3 years Degree Program- student will be required to complete the deficiency of difference of total earned credit hours and 130 credit hours.

Note: Classes for above all Post-Graduate Degree programs may be arranged / adjusted in morning / afternoon / weekend days, as determined by the Department concerned.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For admission in any of the above announced programs, the candidate must fulfill the following admission requirements.

• For M.S/M.Phil Admissions: The candidate must have passed the Bachelor (16 years education or 4 years after FA/F.Sc) examination or an equivalent examination, with at least 50% marks (under annual system) or CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (under semester system) from an HEC recognized institution, in a field of study relevant to the subject a candidate desires to take up.
• For Ph.D Admissions: The candidate must have passed the Master (18 years education) examination or an equivalent examination, with at least 60% marks (under annual system) or CGPA of 3.00/4.00 (under semester system) from an HEC recognized institution, in a field of study relevant to the subject a candidate desires to take up.
• Admission Test: All eligible candidates shall have to qualify (70% marks for Ph.D and 50 % for M.S/M.Phil) the admission test conducted by the University of Haripur (Course outlines, Sample Papers and instructions for candidates can be downloaded from the University’s website (link: www.uoh.edu.pk) OR submit a valid qualified (60% marks for Ph.D and 50 % for M.S/M.Phil) result card of equivalent test conducted by ETC/HEC or NTS.
• NOC and Leave Certificate: In service candidates must apply for admission through proper channel and successful candidates will have to submit NOC and leave certificate, if required, initially for two semesters (except those University employees, who are not sponsored by HEC scholarship program or any other agency which requires leave as a precondition).

Note:

1. Admission forms of Regular students of all affiliated colleges duly completed in all respect will be sent by the concerned Principals.
2. Regular/Private candidates are required to get their admission forms along with requisite documents and white background photographs attested/signed on backside regular by the Principal concerned & Private by a gazette officer of Education Department prior to submission.
3. All fresh candidates (Regular & Private) who will appear in BA/BSc Examination are required to attach original Migration Certificate issued by their respective Boards.
4. It must be noted that examination centre is allotted on the basis of permanent address as mentioned in the examination admission form. However, the university reserves the right to allot the Examination Centre anywhere on the basis of the number of candidates in the area. Those who would like to be examined in a place other than their permanent address should send their own/parents service/residence certificate with the form in official capacity. The certificate should also be countersigned by a Gazetted Officer.
5. After the last date of submission of forms with triple fee, forms will be accepted with a fine of Rs. 500/- for delay of every 15 days or a maximum of Rs. 2000/- till two weeks prior to the commencement of Examination. No admission form will be accepted two weeks before the commencement of Exam unless allowed by the competent authority with enhanced fee.
6. Admission form will not be accepted without white background photographs (For both Male and Female).
7. Fee once deposited shall neither refundable nor adjustable, if the candidate is otherwise eligible.
8. Forms submitted/received after the said period shall in no case be given any consideration.
9. Fee can be deposited in National Bank of Pakistan (Main, University, Khalabat TownShip, Ghazi and Khanpur Branches), ABL (GT road main, Ghazi and Khanpur branches) or through Bank draft in favour of Controller of Examinations, University of Haripur.
10. Due to jurisdiction limits of universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the fresh private candidates of B.A (Part-I) of District Haripur cannot appear in any other university without getting NOC from the University of Haripur.
